The deck in detail
The Cosmic Visions Tarot deck is a divine expression of the universal life force that pervades all of nature and the space within ourselves. The artwork for each card is meticulously hand illustrated by talented, self-taught artist, Jessica Shackelton and is printed on a luxurious card stock that’s a joy to behold. It is the perfect representation of ‘as above, so below’ with its psychedelic colours and patterns, and expressive imagery of nature and space intertwining.
The Guidebook
Handwritten and styled by Jessica, this 100 page guide book provides mature and sage advise that encourages you to tap into your own innate wisdom. As you take a journey with the guidebook it begins to reveal that divinity is two parts of the same whole while its words in combination with the cards invite you to explore your shadow through gentle grandmotherly guidance and own your light through an empowering and loving tone.
The making of Cosmic Visions Tarot
Created with a combination of water colour, black pen line drawing individually drawn on paper and digitised each card was then printed on a beautiful satin stock. The production was managed end-to-end by the artist, Jessica and funded by an excitingly successful Kickstarter launch that saw her meeting the goal in less than 12 hours.

About the artist

I am a self taught artist from a rural town on the outskirts of Sydney, Australia where I live with my husband, Lewis and our two cats, Harold and Matilda. My Sun is in Sagittarius, Moon in Gemini and Ascendant in Aries.
My work is heavily influenced by the wonderful and strange things in life. I tend to focus on subjects that are saturated with colour, found in nature, and stumbled upon on journeys through the cosmos. I use art as a way to escape the mundane, illustrating things that are unusual in search of a greater purpose in life.
